Position Summary: Responsible for full implementation and teaching of a Forest Kindergarten curriculum. Will work cooperatively with teaching staff and director to implement a cohesive program for 3-6 year olds.
Minimum Requirements:
* teaching experience (preferable early-childhood) * Experience with the above age group preferred * High School Diploma (or equivalent) * Knowledge of natural history, ethnobotnay, and local flora and fauna * ability to pass a background check * early-childhood degree/certification preferred * Experience teaching in an preschool/elementary environment and working with parents, parent boards, and administration * Experience in team or cooperative teaching * Good communication and a team player attitude * Ability to be positive in and about ALL weather * Forest Kindergarten training preferred
Compensation: Pay is dependent on experience and education ($9-25/hr.)
